Thank you for the lead. Do you think Rosanna's (wife of James) maiden name was also Beans otherwise why is the terminology of husband's receiving for their wives used? It wouldn't be the first time someone in my family married cousins. I found the 29 Mar 1826 marriage of Minerva Beans and Jonathan McCartor mentioned.
