Popkins family

Looking for any information on the Popkins family from Loudoun County, VA. Here's what I have:

Richard Nelson Popkins (1850-1939) married Laura W. Ayers (1853-1932). He is listed as being a farmer in the 1880 Census of Loudoun County, VA. They lived on a large farm on Popkins Lane in Groveton, VA. They raised milk cows on their farm and supplied the milk to the Alexandria Dairy. They are buried at Bethel Cemetery on Wilkes Road in Alexandria, VA. Their known children were George L., Ludwood W. and Maude Amanda, plus several other children, names unknown.

Maud Amanda Popkins (25 Dec 1878-2 Oct 1952) was probably born in Loudoun County, VA. She married George Washington Haislip (6 Mar 1858-1915) on 6 Nov 1901. George died of pneumonia and Maude of liver cancer. Both are buried at the Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. Their children were Norris, Virginia “Tissie”, and Richard. The 1920 Census showed Richard and Norris living with their Popkins grandparents after their father died.

If anyone has any information on this family please contact me at Thanks!
