Searching for African-American Jacksons - Loudoun
Posted by: Fern Jackson-Duncan Date: November 20, 2001 at 16:26:29
  of 1800

I am searching for other descendants or relations to John Henry Jackson who was born approximately around 1872 and married to Bell Catherine Morris b. 1876. On my father's Social Security Card application dated in March 1937, he lists these two individuals as his parents. My father, Charles Wilbur Jackson, Sr. died in November 14, 1962 but lists his birth October 14, 1913. He was born in Loudoun County. I heard from other family members that my grandparents (John Henry Jackson) was born in Middleburg, Virginia or elsewhere in Loudoun County. He had a son named William McKinley Jackson (1900-1970) born in Mountville (Loudoun County), Virginia. Uncle Willie was active in the NAACP. Any information will be most appreciated.
