There is a good genealogy library, Balch Library, not far from the court house on Rt 15. You can park for free behind the building, and the librarians are very helpful. In addition to several hundred local genealogies already compiled and donated, they have numerous ways to research data pertinent to the area. They also have the entire 1880 US census (published by LDS)on CDs. Research is free; donations are accepted.
