Dear Suzannah Foster,

I am also researching my Fairfax County slave ancestors. My gggreat grandmother Amanda Campbell-Baltimore b. 1833, Va. was a slave of Thomas Cooksey. She gave birth to Esau in September, 1853 and it was recorded. The father of her children was Nelson Baltimore. I have been unable to locate records of Nelson prior to 1870 in Fauquier County. Do you research for others? I live in Boston and don't get to Va. often.

Renee Ball-Rodriguez
