Thank you so much for your help. I guess I could have given you a bit more info on the folks in question. Charles G. Eskridge (c.1798-1865) was clerk of the court in Loudoun County for several years. That's why his name appeared so often. I'm not sure when or where he married Margaret (c.1804-1877), but they had two daughters named Isabelle Kennedy (1834-1916) and Mary Hunter (1839-1903). Several months ago I encountered the following wedding announcement on the Loudoun County, VA website:

August 2, 1825, p.3: Married at Roxton, Jefferson Co [part of Virginia until 1863, now West Virginia, BCSouders] on the 21st ult. by the Rev. Mr. Jones Charles G. ESKRIDGE Esq. of this place to Miss Isabella, dau of John KENNEDY, Esq. of Charlestown.

I assume that "of this place refers to Loudoun County or Leesburg" but don't have anything definite on it. The name of Charles G. Eskridge's oldest daughter could indicate that she was actually born during his first marriage if indeed this is the same Charles.

Anyway, if you or anyone else ever runs across any information that might be helpful please let me know.

Thank you again.
