McIntires of Loudoun County

  of 1800

I am tracing the parents of Nicholas McIntire who died in Jefferson County, Virginia in 1805. He is said to have been a slave owner. I believe he migrated from eastern Virginia. While researching I found an Alexander McIntyre on the 1765-1783 tax lists. He is a slave owner. Can anyone tell me about this Alexander McIntyre: the names of his siblings, children, parents? There is also a William McInytre on the 1780 tax list.

Also listed is a William Teague. Is this the father of Rachel Teague sho married David Shepherd about 1752 in Western Virginia?

I also descend from William Gunnell through his daughter, Sarah who married James Saunders in 1737 in FairFax County. I find him and his sons listed on the Loudoun County tax lists.

Any information about the McIntires, Teagues, Gunnells, and Saunders of Loudoun County would be greatly appreciated.
