[p. 209] viewed the way for a road from nearly opposite Sampson TURLEY's house to Edward CARTER's Mill on Bull run. Beginning at Mr. John HOFF's corner and continuing on the line between s'd HOFF and William SMALLEY & Hiland CROWE thence crossing a corner of said HOFF's land to the line of George RALLS and James DUTTON thence through a corner of Benjamin JAMES to the line of John D. BELL and Airis BUCKNER thence through said BUCKNER's land along the present standing road to said mill and we further report that we find the way above passable and fit for a road. 2 June 1804, Frederick ELLGIN, Andrew REDMOND, Sampson TURLEY. Ordered that a road be established agreeable to the report. Andrew REDMOND appointed overseer thereof and Israel LACEY, Gent. appointed to allot the hands to work thereon.
