Yes, I know that statement is incorrect. I was sharing what was stated in the Hensley genealogy. I do believe he was born in Ireland in 1739. Since Loudoun County was created in 1757, it is very likely that my ancestor, Thomas Mullen, lived there during or after that time. He joined the military in 1777, and apparently after his time of service moved to Bourbon County, VA, in 1783, where he died in 1832.
