The abstract of the will of John Gregg, Will Book C, page 338, as done by the Sparacios, reads:


.... 2nd Item I will and bequeath that my Lease Land or plantation whereon I now live and all other real and personal Estate (Except my case of Drawers, Warming Pan and pewter which are to be disposed of as hereafter mentioned) to be sold and equally divided amongst my children (except my Eldest Son Amos Gregg). Viz. Mary Gregg, Hannah Dixon, Amy Gregg, Lydda Howell, Rebekah Gregg, George Gregg, John Gregg, Richard Gregg and Levy Gregg my Grandson, if my son Richard Gregg inclines to buy my plantation above mentioned ......
