Rebecca Davis m. George Nichols. He was s/o Nathan, Jr. & Sarah Nichols. Nathan Nichols, Jr. d. 1827 in Loudoun Co. His Will Q:300, 1827 names heirs: Sarah, wife; Sons: Nathan, John, George, Albert & S-I-L Albin Coe. Daughters: Harriett, Margaret, Martha, Ann, Massey, Sarah & Mary Elizabeth. Witnesses include Joseph Thomas, Phillip Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Jr. & Nathan Nichols, Sr. who m. Elizabeth Thomas.
Rebecca Davis was d/o John Davis of Wales who with his brother settled in VA. Thomas moved to SC. The father of John Davis, John Davis was a silk merchant in Wales awho left an estate valued at $33,000,000. John Davis was m 3 times, had 16 children and d. at age 107 in Montgomery Co., KY.
