Division of 15 slaves on 26 Jan 1814: Admr John HAMILTON & others against Ruth HAMILTON & others divide among nine children: Thomas HAMILTON (given Negro Lucinda), Sarah now the wife of Amos VEALE (given Nancy & her child at the breast called Nancy & Isaac), Nancy now the wife of Gabriel PUMPHREY (given Sarah & Tom), Ruth HAMILTON (given Janny & Armistead her child at the breast & Hannah), Elizabeth now the wife of James PUMPHREY (given Negro Kitty & Phillip), Mary HAMILTON given (Peggy & child at breast & Fanny), Martha now the wife of William PERRY (given Milly & Rose), Charlotte HAMILTON (given Negro Ben), John HAMILTON (given William & boy Jack).       Subscribers: Ludwell LEE, Enoch FRANCIS, Jos.
