Loudoun County Order Book 2, 17 November 1808
[p. 194] Ordered that it be certified that Penelope Harrison wife of William Butler Harrison is the sister and sole heir of Major Andrew Russell deceased of the ___ Regiment of Virginia on the continental Establishment.

Vol. XVII, No. 29 – July 20, 1833
Died on the 12th inst. at residence in this county, Mrs. Penelope Harrison, age 77 years, consort of Major William B. Harrison.
Vol. XIX, No. 10 – March 7, 1835
Died here Saturday the 28th ult., Major William B. Harrison, aged c. 76 years, veteran of Revolutionary war, interred with military honors.
There is a Burr Harrison that appears in Loudoun for several years around 1760.
A William Harrison appears with Joshua Harrison and Thomas Harrison on the 1781 Loudoun Tithables list in Cameron Parish.
