We currently have three DNA submitters from the descendants
of Reuben Doughty and, as Connie correctly states, our results do not match DNA results for any of the other Doughty testees.
Our Doughty Line matches closely with many of the members
of the Moore family; however, we do have one match with a
MOORE DNA submitter which is a 67-67 exact match.
Our Moore 67-67 marker exact match traces his ancestors on
paper to a Thomas Moore , b. 1574 in Southwell Nottinghamshire, England; died 1636 Salem, Sussex, MA. This
Thomas Moore was a son of John Moore b. 1530 England.
The above information was found through DNA and lineage
Charts and I have seen no doumentation proving this lineage
as correct. However, our Doughty-Moore problem is in
locating the how-when-where this connection occurred.
Thanks for your information and your interest. This is a
challenge and we need all the help, information, comments,
and/or suggestions we can get.
LaDoris Doughty Weber
