Bryan Fairfax held a lot of land in Loudoun, which he leased out. None of the books I have, including the Loudoun Discovered series, mention a Turkey Branch. It could have been a small creek that over time was renamed.

Jeremiah McCarty was in Cameron Parish, on the eastern part of Loudoun where Difficult Run is, during that time period until about 1783.
