McCormick family & the Old Hamilton School House

Lucy P. Chamblin (1862-1937),(dau of Albert G. Chamblin & his wife, Susan Elizabeth Humphrey) was the 2nd wife of John Walter Chamblin (1853-1943), (son of Leven Powell Chamblin & his wife, Julia Ann Furr). An old photo album belonging to Lucy contained an old picture postcard of a small brick building with, "School House, Hamilton" written in. On the reverse is written "Mr. Charles McCormick". Written beneath the photo on the album page is, "School House, across from where we lived as a young child". The album also contains an old photoghraph of the heavy cardboard type. Printed on the reverse is "1881. J. W. Fisher, Corner Franklin Ave. & 9th, St. Louis, Mo." A faded handwritten note is only partially legible, "...Will you & Kate accept these with the love of your sincere & loving Friend, Mary E. McCormick"

Of possible significance -- John Walter Chamblin's 1st wife was Catherine "Callie" Furr (dau of William "Gill" Gilmore Furr and his wife, Mary Agnes), who might conceiviably be the "Kate" mentioned in McCormick's note.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have additional information to help identify any relationship of Charles McCormick or Mary E. McCormick to the Chamblin family.
