If you get the Gibsons all figured out, let me know. One anonymous researcher asserted that Rachel ______, the wife of my 4th great grandfather John Young (who died in Loudoun about 1803), was a Gibson or Gipson. I have found nothing to confirm or rebut that proposition, though I see several individuals with that surname on the early Loudoun tax lists.
