Mr. Cress,
This is a very generous offer your making. I would like to take you up on this. I have several relatives from Lee County, but the one I am interested in right now is Daniel Leonard (Lenard) born about 1802 and married to Mary Jones about 1838 and Daniel died before 1860. As you can see, we have no concrete dates for much to do with this family. We know they are listed in the 1840 census Claiborne County TN, but was told they came from Lee County Virginia. Are there any marriage records? Tax lists? etc? I believe (but haven't confirmed) that he had a brother Patrick Leonard. Anything to substantiate that? Any information on this family would be appreciated. Daniel and Mary's children are: Martha, Margaret, William, Daniel, Sarah, Patrick (my gggrandfather), Mary, Eliza, and Ann. Thank you again for your offer of help.
Anna Weaver
