I'm looking for information on Newton Nichols. He is found on the 1910 VA Miracode Census index in Lee VA.
He was in Enumeration District 28, Visit 116,

Family members are:

Head of Household - Newton Nichols - 43 y/o - born in Tenn
Wife - Risa - 38
Daughter - Louise - 21
Daughter - Bettie - 18
Daughter - Cora -16
Daughter - Bertha - 12
Daughter - Blanch 10
Daughter - Corda - 8
Daughter - Nannie - 5
Daughter - Zollie - NR
Son - Not named - NR

Also, found at visit 117 was:
Seabolt, Arch - Head - 27 y/o
Seabolt, Mary - wife - 20
Seabolt, Roy - Son 7/12

Mary was the daughter of Newton and Risy Nichols. She married Arch Seabolt in on Aug 22, 1908.

Newton is found in Mecklenburg Co., VA in 1920. His daughter Bettie married Lewis P. Lawson in Mecklenburg Co., VA. I believe Newton's daughter Bertha is the one that married Admiral Dewey Lawson (son of Lewis Lawson) in Halifax VA. "Newt & Eliza Nichols" lived there when Bettie married L.P Lawson.

I'm also looking for info. on:
Lewis P. Lawson - born in Tenn
Wiltse P. Lawson - born in Tenn
Kate Lawson (1st wife of Wiltse)
Admiral Dewey Lawson - born in Tenn
Bertha Pearl Nichols - born in VA

Any help on these names would be greatly appreciated!

Linda W Lawson
