My gggrandparents, Francis Wheeler and Franny (Muncy) Wheeler traveled by wagon train abt 1849 to settle in MO. My ggrandmother Lynn Ann (Annie) Wheeler, told my dad, she walked all the way. I'm wondering if they might have relatives still living in Lee Co. or nearby? Does anyone know if there are records available for wagon train details, participants, etc.? Am I correct in thinking Lee Co. was in West VA back then? Thanks in advance for any help.
