I contacted you awhile back about Andy Jackson Vance and Molly Roberts Vance. You did a fine job for me on them. I have a question for you.

Nancy "Blair" Vance is my GGG-Grandmother married to John Henry Vance and the mother of Andrew Jackson Vance. What I'm wanting to know is two things.

#1 Is there a book that I can purchase on the Listings of the people buried in the Gibson Cemetery in Lee County, And.........

#2 Do you have anything that tells where Nancy "Blair" Vance is buried.

Nancy Blair Vance Passed in 1929 in Middlesboro, KY.

Here is a Death Certificate Report on her....

Died: Middlesboro, Ky, Bell County on November 28, 1929

Birth: July 8th, 1841 88years 4 months and 22 days

Birthbirth: VA
Occupation: Housewife
Fathers Name: Jacob Blair III
Mothers Name: Jane McClanahan Blair
Informant: George Vance/Middlesboro, Ky (Son) Andy's Brother.
Cause of Death: Cerebral Hemorage

This was signed by George Vance that she was buried in Lee County, WHEELER, VA. I'am desperate to fine her resting place. I know that Molly "Roberts" Vance is buried in the Gibson Cemetery in Wheeler and I have visted the Cemetery. Most of the stones are in grown up bush and are turned over and I was unable to lift. Plus, it was during the summer that I was there and all I could think of was Rattle Snakes, so needless to say, I didn't stay to long. Anyway, since I know there have been family members buried in this cemetery, including Molly Vance, Andrew's wife and a couple of children who past at young ages, could it be that Nancy "Blair" Vance is there also???? I have a note from a Great Aunt, stating she is buried behind the Rock Quarry in Wheeler. I checked this out also, to no aveil. The only thing I found behind any rock quarry in Wheeler, were rocks for stones and no names. Being that it was in 1929, I'm sure there was a stone with an inscription and she is in Wheeler somewhere.

Please, help me in located her stone. It's a quest of mine and I can't let go. Thank You for being so kind before and I hope you can help me this time.

I also would like to purchase an Historical Book of Lee County if there are any available. Any book actually with any information on the family.

Thanks Again,

633 Willow Drive
Danville, IN 46122
