I am also looking for a connection for the Redwines of Lee CO to a Native Am. tribe. My grandmother was Joyce Dama Redwine daughter of Robert W. Redwine and Martha Carter. So far I have ran into a brick wall. Robert was born in Lee Co. His father was James Haskel Redwine of Lee Co. And his mother was Malinda Jane Nifong of Cocke Co. TN. I cannot find anyting on Martha or Malinda and my father says they were indians. I have a Martha on the Cherokee rejection list saying she was probably Catawba indian. Her birth date was the same as my Martha. I would be interested if you have anything we can share! Also how are you connected to the Redwines?
