Mike,
I have an interest in Gibson Station as my father was James Fortner and is a brother to Charles Isaac Fortner. I was wondering if you have any info on the Fortner family or access to a cemetary there if there is one. My grandmother Lula Fortner died around 1897 and I don't know where she is buried. My father was born in Claiborne Co. Tn. but I understand that his family did live in Lee Co.Va. at times. If you have any info on this Fortner family to share I would sure appreciate hearing from you. Thanks so much.

Phyllis
