Mike i'm not sure the accuraticy of the Early Settlers Book. I'm just going on with what it says, until things are proven. A family member did find the registries of the ship Thomas and Jane Ely came to America on. The ship named, "THE RICHMOND" and the captain's name was James Young Husband. Search the ship's registries for the ship and you will find them listed as passengers.
