Info on Dona, Lee County
Posted by: Scott Date: August 19, 2000 at 18:52:42

Looking for information on the community of Dona in Lee County, near the Scott County and Hancock County, TN lines.

Does anyone know the origin of the name? And how is it pronounced, long O or short?

Also, how large of an area was considered to be in Dona (particulary around 1900)?
