I'm looking for information on my Spencer family, and I don't have much to start with:
My father was David Sullen Spencer, Jr., born in Wayland, KY on 19 Dec 1919; died 6 July 1960.
His father was David Sullen Spencer, Sr., dob 14 December 1876, KY; died 15 October 1928 in Harlan, KY. David, Sr. was the son of Gerard Spencer and Eliza Herst (no other information available).
His mother was Mary Ella Pendleton, daughter of George Hiram Pendleton and Alice Serena Eads of Max Meadows, Wythe County, VA. Mary Ella was born on 1 June 1891 in Max Meadows and died 20 Jan 1986 in Logan, OH.
David, Sr. and Mary Ella may have been married in Coalwood, McDowell County, WV.
My father, David Sullen Spencer, Jr., had six brothers: Byron Olin, Basil Thomas, Jack, James O'Connor and Clyde Maurice. All six sons were born in either Kentucky or West Virginia.
My father also had an uncle, Emmett Spencer, who may have lived in Lee County, VA; he died around 1951.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
