There are no "Hood" surnames listed in the 1880 Lee Co. Census book by M. Treadway. I'm sorry.
There are marrige books of Lee Co., I don't know the dates. I did look up Hood in the one I have that has 1830 -1853, and did not find any listing for "Hood." There is no listing for "Hood" groom in the 1815-1839 for Scott Co. either that I saw.
You may want to check out the Lee Co., Va Site on Rootsweb. There are lots of people with access to the different books there, and can tell you where to buy them if you want your own copies. I don't know about any
divorce records. It's my understanding that the 1890 Census for Lee Co. was lost in the fire that destroyed most of the 1890 Census.
