Hello Ed,

Are you the researcher from Harrogate? We were there this fall and found the cemetery in Lee Co. I was trying to find the location of the Gibson Fort/Station and the property owner. I'd like to view it but not trespass....

We heard of a researcher in TN but ran out of time to go
by his place.

Do you know if there are any land records of George Gibson's land recording sales after the sons received their shares? Trying to narrow down when they left Va for their trip, which ended in Mo for several of them.

I'll be back out there this spring or fall but plan to come better prepared.

These last messages are now two years old and I'm checking to see if your still active on the site.
