Hi Brenda. I found Isaac Herd/Hurd, his wife and their children in the 1870, 1900 (12 children) and the 1910 Lee Co., VA census records. I did not find marriage date or LeeCo., Va cemetery record. On an LDS Family Search (Morman Archive I found Isaac b. 13 Jun 1835 in both Hawkins and and Hancock Co.,Tn (?) Probably Hawkins is correct since Jacobs Herd was born same date in Hawkins Co., Tn Their parents are listed as James Herd and Nancy Fisher, (No dates or places). Harriett ________? Herd was b. ca 1848, Wythe Co., Va. I found only Lee Co., VA marriages for Walter and Minnie Herd/Hurd. I found several Lee Co.,VA cemetery records for sons and grandsons of Isaac and Harriet Herd.
