Hi Jo. I found the Thomas morgan family in the 1880 Lee Co., VA census, Jonesville didtrict. which you probably already have. None of the family was found in any other Lee Co., Va records. I do have the 1884-85 Lee Co., VA Occupations Directory, bu no Thomas, or Thomas J. Morgan was listed. ( They could have already left Lee Co/ or perhaps Thomas could have been atenant farmer and was not listed. I searched extensively on the LDS Family Search Site (Morman Archives), VA and Ky and I did not find any information on Emma Morgan, birth date, place or her marriage to ________?Johnson, place or date. The 1880 census confirms that Thomas J. Morgan was , b. 1810, GA. parents b. GA. His wife, Harriet Helmdollar. b. 1952, Tazewell Co., VA, dau./0 Madison Helmdollar, b. 1810, Va and Melinda _________?, b. 1812 VA. If you don't havethe family in the 1880 Lee Co., VA cenus with children b. thru 1877. It seems strange that Emma was not born until cz. 1890 which is 13 years later, although Harriet was just 37 years old in 1890, and they may have just had large family. Ed
