Hello. My name is Sharon Watkins and I am looking for my Great-great grandmother's children. Her name is Almira Bush who married William Davis. Almira was born Dec 1835-1838. Her parents are James Bush and Margaret Whisman (Weissman).
William Davis was born 1835 VA and his father is Johnson Davis. Almira and William were married 26 DEC 1856 Lee Co, Va.

1)Rebecca "Cely" Davis born 28 SEPT 1857
**Rebecca had a son out of wedlock (My graeat grandpa)
This child is Daniel Sheffie Davis born 1877 Harlan Co, KY. Daniel Sheffie Davis married Martha Ann Shackleford.
2)James Calvin Davis born 5 MAR 1860
James Calvin married Lucy Stanley
3)David Franklin Davis born 9 OCT 1862
David was married two times: Rachel L. Cowden, and Lucinda Clark. David's son with Rachel Cowden is John D. Davis.
4)John H. Davis born 1867
5)Margaret M. "Peggy" Davis born 3 APR 1869 and died 27 MAY 1927. Margaret married Noah Witt and was buried in Legg Cemetery in Keokee, Lee Co, Va.
I would love to find out all I can on this family. I appreciate any and all help...
