Hi Eleanor. On an LDS Family Search online, Va., I found Doswell Charles Rogers. b. 1836 in either Tyrone Co., Ireland or York Co., VA. His parents were not found. He married in 1862 , Va, to ___________?, who was b. ca., 1740, Va. I also searched his children on LDS, (guessing at their birth date), but I could not connect any of them to Doswell, b. 1836. I did find an Adestone Rogers and family in the 1820-30-40-50 Lee Co., Va census records, but he appears to have been born to late to be the son of Doswell, b. 1736. If you would like my 4 pages of reserch notes, please e-mail me your postal mailing address to me at: cressoakridge@aol.com Ed Cress, Lee Co., Va genealogical esercher. No charge.
