Hi Stanley. On an LDS Family Search online, Va and NC, I found: Hubbard Blaylock, b. 1802, NC, (No parents listed), who married 12 Dec 1842 in Claiborne Co., Tn to Catharine Groseclose, b. 1827 in Wythe or Smyth Co., VA, dau./o John Groseclose and Sarah or Scholssin Sluss. (No dates or ancestors were liste for them. In the 1850 Lee Co., Va census were Hubbard Blaylock, b. 1802, NC, Catharine, b. 1827, Va, children: Mary b. ca 1845, Va., Joseph, b. ca. 1845, VA and Reuben, b. ca. 1847, VA Because of the large difference in ages, I wonder if Catharine might have been his 2nd wife? Ed Cress, Lee Co., VA. researcher
