Teresia, sorry somehow I failed to get back to you in Feb. I would like anything that you can provide. I have a feeling that if the Smith that I am looking for really is Hugh that he died somewhere in Lee County before the next census.I only came upon Hugh because the ages seem to be close to the rest of my family. I have Lucinda ? Born in Md. Married a Smith Had 3 sons in Va. One My great great grandfather Levi Born in 1823 an older brother and a younger brother, According to childrens birth state they moved into Ky and had 1 daughter then in 1840 they were in Campbell Co Tn. and she had another son. But there was no man in family after they arrived in Campbell Co. Levi's daughter, my Great grandmother was never married but had a son, Theodore H Smith Theodore said the H was just an initial but I believ it could stand for Hugh.
