Sally Romain/David Smith 1808

I am researching the Romain line and finding very little information. Many lines in my Eastern Kentucky heritage have been finely researched, but I can find no information on the Romain family.

According to the information I have Sally Romans/Romaine b. 1788 m. David Smith b. 1784. They resided in Harlan County sometime after their marriage in 1808, but the marriage occured in Lee County, Virginia. Some sources list her father as Jacob Romain, spouse Mary Unknown. Other sources list her father as Joshua Romain, but the dates on this do not make sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
