Thanks for the information, but this is not the Silas Fannin from Wayne County, WV. I think they were related, but the family who was native to Bland and Lee Counties seem to have maintained the spelling, Fannon. Silas of Wayne County and his descendants used the spelling, Fannin. Anyway, I'm hoping to find record of him somewhere after 1887.
