Thank you Ed. I was asking about John J. R. Legg because, I have run across information that indicates that my great grandmother, Rebecca Barker, married an unknow Legg that was born in 1850. Rebecca Barker is the d/o Benjamin Wallace and Elizabeth Barker. I searched the 1870 Lee Co. census to find all of the male Leggs and this John was the only one I was unable to find any marriage or 1880 census info on. So I thought he may be a good candidate for the unknown Legg. I will keep him on the list but, I will look for male Leggs in nearby KY counties.
Teresia
