Searching for parents of JACOB BITTS b. between 1833 and 1835. He married Margaret also b. about 1833. Children were:
Henry Bitts b. 1851 in PA
and one other who possibly died as an infant.
This family was in Conestoga , Lancaster Co. PA as of 1860, until their deaths . Margaret d. after 1910 , Jacob may have died on Aug. 5, 1896. He was dead before the 1900 census. Think he may be the Jacob Bitts of the 203 Pennyslvania Volenteers , he was a sargent , in service 8-15-1864 through 6-22-1865 . Buried at Conestoga Methodist (cemetery?) dates are b. 8-13-1832 d. 8-5-1896. Any help finding him in the 1850 census is appreciated. Cindy
