Daniel Reaves had bought land on Deep Bottom Creek in 1797 and sold it in 1799, with no wife shown on the deed and no dower release. In 1807 Daniel Rieves bought 72 acres on Deep Bottom Creek - Deed Book 21, page 501. 1830 Real Estate Tax Book shows Daniel Reaves with 72 acres on Deep Bottom Creek.
It appears that Susan Wilkins and her siblings were selling land which had belonged to their parents. Damiel Rives was bondsman for Susan's marriage to Perryman Wilkins in 1832, and for Nancy's marriage to John Chaney the same year.
