Carolin ...

I have been trying to put together information on my 4th great grandmother, MARGARET BOSWELL DUGAR (b. 1797) who married WILLIAM RUFFIN in King William County, VA and then moved to Somerville, Fayette County, TN. Her mother was MARY M. BLACKWELL (1777-1845) whom I believe had been previously married to FLEMING DUGAR (died 1820) of King William County, VA. I was sent a copy of MARY M. DUGAR'S WILL from Fayette County, TN.

Today I discovered that Mary M. Dugar's other husbands included SAMUEL J. CATLETT who had a daughter by her named ELIZA and also that MARGARET (PEGGY?) was a daughter, NOT of FLEMING DUGAR but most probably of someone named Winfrey/Winphrey -- Mary M.'s first husband. I need to know more about these King William families and how to trace some of their connections.

PLEASE contact me at indygrandma@hotmail.com
