Hugh Gorden/Gorden sold land on or near the Rappahanock River in upper King George County to Benjamin Johnson on December 6, 1787, John Gravatt was a witness to the land sale. I have not found any immediate information on him, but you might want to research the following names which were connected with the neighbourhood of the land sale, since there may be other connections between them and John Gravatt:
Thomas TURNER
Anne SETTLE
Benjamin JOHNSON
Francis THORNTON
Thomas WILKERSON
