Thank you so much. I didn't have Jane's first name. I only had that John had married a Miss Campbell. This is great.
I am new to research. I just bought a Family Tree Maker and have not signed up for ancestry.com.yet.
I am trying to join the DAR. My Dad and Aunt stopped their research at John. This is where I am starting.
I know that my John was born in King George and enlisted to fight in the Rev. War while still living in his father's house. The war records do not list the names of his father, mother or siblings.
Some where I knew that he had 6 brothers who joined the war.
After the war 3 brothers moved to Madison to farm.
I am not organized yet and I looked for my papers that stated that the three brothers moved to Madison but could not find them.
I do know that John lived for 42 years in Madison. This is where he lived when he applied for his war pension. I have a 1810 census that listed a
George,Robert Jr., John Jr., John, Robert, and a Thornton Harrison.
I know that John Jr. and Thornton were John's sons.
So that would leave George and Robert as probable brothers of John.
I would really like to have the information that you have.
I will organize my papers and try to find where it says that the three brothers moved to Madison.
