I am writing reference a Query posted on Wednesday, 20 Septremner 2000 in which the subject was about a William Rollins ferring John Wilkes Booth across the river. I believe this to be the Potamac River. In some of the history of Thomas H. Harbin & Thomas A Jones they ferried John Wilkes Booth across the Potamac. These two men were secret agents of the Confedercy. They devoted their lives
to this cause. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is knowledgeable of the history of those Civil War times.

Betty Harbin Garbers
