In the 1880 census, Catherine L. Green is 23 years old, married to Low. D. Green (could this be an abbreviation for Lawrence?). He is 38 years old and a farmer. They have one son, Robert F., age 8, and a daughter, Ernestine, age 2. I believe that this Catherine Green was Catherine Owens, daughter of Robert E. Owens and his wife, Susan Jane Windsor. Am looking for verification of this relationship and also any information on descendants of Catherine Green. Catherine's sister would have been Mary Elizabeth Owens (my great-grandmother) who married Julian Cicero Ingram. The Robert Owens family and the Julian Cicero Ingram family lived in Northumberland County, VA. There is a King George connection, I believe, in the Owenses, but have not been able to nail down exactly what it is. Any information would be most greatly appreciated.
