I can't tell you much, but do know that the name Redmond is an Irish name......I doubt anyone would name a child RedMan because a parent was an Indian.
If George received land for bringing over headrights, then this means that he payed the passage for those 24 people and in return, he got the land that they received from the colony of Va because they were willing to move to the colony...50 acres each person . These were legal and binding land 'deals', and if you received the land, then you kept it to do with as you wished. If George had enough money to pay the passage of 24 people, then he wasn't 'displaced'....
