from a book called "King George County, Va - 1720-1990" by Nancy E Harris;
There is a large section of names with this heading; The National Genealogical Soc published an Index of Rev. War Pension applications....in Nat. Gen Soc Quarterly, Vol 47, Sept 1957, the following names appear;
Stegall, Jesse (survivor) 7646
Stegall, John......Susannah, widow 2900
(the above are from VA, and not necessarily KGC)

John Stogell paid quit rent on 100 acres in Essex Co - 1704
