Surveyors and chain-bearers 1691-1701

I need to learn more about the men who were conducting surveys in K&Q between its formation from New Kent in 1691 and the formation of King William in 1701.

I'm particularly interested in any records that refer to surveyor William MOSELY and/or chainbearer (later surveyor) James COX, especially if the surveys were in the area between Mattapony and Pamunkey that later became King William Co.

Feel free to contact me directly at pbphelps1 "AT" verizon.net.
