.
For JAMES WELLMORE (WILLMORE / WILEMORE) of Essex and King & Queen Counties VA
for the period of the early to mid-1700s I have found this:

17 Apr 1736 Essex Co. Virginia Deed Book 20
JAMES WELLMORE, Jane Brucknall & Sarah Brucknall, St. Anne’s Parish made JOHN MERRITT their attorney to
recover from Exeors of William Winston’s estate their brother’s part, he being William Brucknal, it being part of Richard Brucknals estate. WILLIAM MERRITT a witness.

Also this from:

Merchants Account Book - Ledger C (Ledger from Ninian Boog’s Store near Aylett VA)
Period: March 19, 1751 to August 4, 1752
King & Queen County, Virginia

Abstracts from Ledger C were published in the Magazine of Virginia Genealogy,
Volumes 28 & 29, 1990 & 1991.

Several account entries listed the ESTATE of JAMES WELLMORE,
James’ widow KATHERINE WELLMORE,
and these names also in the Ledger:
JAMES, ROBERT, THOMAS and WILLIAM Wellmore / Wilemore.

This is all that I have found to date.

Anyone have information on the family of James & Katherine Wellmore?
.
