You seem to have quite a bit of history on your line. I read your other queries in other forums. Wish I could help more. What I am sending, you may already have. I do not have any books on York Co and only two books on James City Co.

Book: James City Co Keystone of the Commonwealth by McCartney.

In 1655 Ann Barnhouse of Martin's Hundred, a white woman, went to court to convey William, her slave woman Prossa's child, to his father, Mihill Gowen (Gower) of York Co, a black indentured servant. Mrs. Barnhouse indicated that she had had young William baptized and she posted a bond, vowing "never to trouble Mihill Gowen or his son, William, or to demand service."

This source is: York County Wills, Deeds, Orders 1657-1659.

As for your email question:
A place called Jordan's Journey was located in Charles City Co VA in the early 1600's.
