I could find nothing in my books on Isle of Wight Co, Surry Co, Charles City Co, and James City Co.

In my book: Virginia Tax Records, the only Joseph Simmons listed was a tax list in 10 April 1782 for Dinwiddie Co VA. The only other Simmons listed in that tax was a Winnifred.

Joseph: 1 free male tithe, 2 Negro tithes, 2 Negroes under age, 3 horses, 10 cattle.
Winnifred: 1 free male tithe, 1 Negro tithe, 3 Negroes under age, 2 horses, 9 cattle.
